After Barcelona’s victory over Lyon and Liverpool’s victory at Bayern on Wednesday evening, the eight clubs that qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals are now known. And for the first time in 10 years there will be four English teams.
Barcelona won 5-1 against Lyon at home while liverpool won 3-1 away at Bayern Munich, after both matched finished 0-0 in the first leg, completing the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League. The draw for the quarter-finals and semi-finals will take place this Friday at noon.
The first leg quarter-finals will take place on the 9th and 10th of April, and the second leg will take place in the following week. The semis will be scheduled on April 30th and May the 1st (first leg) and May the 7th and 8th (return).
